Dear friends of Roots of Empathy in the Netherlands:
It is with a very heavy heart that we are informing you of the closing of operations for Roots of Empathy in the Netherlands, effective December 2025.
Since 2018, we have loved working with you to serve children by nurturing their empathy, reducing aggression and increasing kindness, inclusion, caring and so much more. We deeply appreciate all your support.
We would like to extend our special thanks to the ROE Netherlands Board of Directors, as well as our donors and supporters, without whom our work would not have been possible.
Our deepest gratitude to the Roots of Empathy host schools, volunteer Families with their Tiny Teachers, and all of the Roots of Empathy Instructors for their deep commitment to the Roots of Empathy programs and to children.

Beste vrienden van Roots of Empathy in Nederland,
Met grote spijt delen wij u mee dat Roots of Empathy per december 2025 haar activiteiten in Nederland zal beëindigen.
Sinds 2018 hebben we met veel plezier met u samengewerkt om kinderen te helpen door hun empathie te stimuleren, agressie te verminderen en vriendelijkheid, inclusie, zorgzaamheid en nog veel meer te bevorderen. Wij zijn u zeer dankbaar voor al uw steun.
We willen in het bijzonder onze dank uitspreken aan de raad van bestuur van ROE Nederland, evenals aan onze donateurs en supporters, zonder wie ons werk niet mogelijk zou zijn geweest.
Onze oprechte dank gaat uit naar de gastscholen van Roots of Empathy, de vrijwillige gezinnen met hun Tiny Teachers en alle Roots of Empathy-instructeurs voor hun grote inzet voor de programma’s van Roots of Empathy en voor de kinderen.
